ADHD Workshops

Teaching students about their unique brains so they can work with them

Befriend Your Brain!

An ADHD workshop for students

Beth has decades of experience teaching students with ADHD about ADHD. And she’s seen first-hand how transformative and empowering this process can be: They are NOT stupid or lazy— an all-too-familiar narrative. Their brain is wired differently, and it is just as capable of learning as everyone else’s. We’ll work together to figure out exactly what their brain needs to thrive so they can make more gains with less pain.

Drawing on her years as a classroom teacher, Beth uses relatable, real-life examples of ADHD’s impacts on learning that students can’t help but see themselves in. Coupled with Beth’s energy, warmth and transparency about her own ADHD, your child will immediately feel safe and know they aren’t alone.

What is it?

Four personalized, one-on-one virtual classes all about ADHD for newly diagnosed students in elementary (grades 3-5) or middle school (grades 6-8).

What will we learn?

With your child in the driver’s seat, we will design and create a personalized “Brain Book” (think user’s guide) detailing how their uniquely-wired brains learn best: strengths, struggles, what helps and what doesn’t. And everything is shared digitally, so they can actually find the information when they need it later!
